The Branch Director is responsible for service provision and operations of an assigned location. This position is responsible for on-site production, budget preparation and financial analysis, and for the physical plant. The Branch Director serves on the Production Team, assisting with agency-wide production coordination. This position assists with the implementation of person centered programs for each participant in keeping with standards established by CARF, the funding sources and other applicable guidelines. In addition, the Branch Director participates in the on-call manager rotation and as a member of the agency management team. This position reports to the President. Branch Directors may supervise any or all of the following: supervisors, service coordinators, staff with direct client contact, office associates, and other support staff necessary to assure quality services.
Bachelor’s degree in a human service or business management field. Three years experience in rehabilitation, production management, or business administration. Two years of supervisory experience. Able to communicate effectively with the business community, funding sources, participants, and staff. Computer literate. Professional demeanor. Able to be an authorized agency driver. NOTE: Experience in a manufacturing or production capacity totaling at least five years will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Management/administrative experience in business or rehabilitation. Master’s degree in a related field. Training/Certifications: Employment Training Specialist, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified in MODAPTS, CPR, First Aid. Knowledge of ISO, manufacturing, quality assurance, CARF accreditation, special minimum wages or performance measurement.
