LaMeil Babbitt-Ingram
MMI’s Employee of the Month for May is
LaMeil Babbitt-Ingram, a Community Living
Supports Coach in the Mt. Pleasant Branch.
LaMeil has a wonderful ability to
anticipate, adapt and adjust her schedule
to accommodate any change, all while
maintaining a positive attitude. She also
possesses an instinct for recognizing when
and how much assistance is helpful, and is first to jump in to assist with
any situation. On her days off, LaMeil likes to go the extra mile and will
give her CLS participants a call just to see how their day is going.
LaMeil is full of enthusiasm and has a talent for helping people turn their
attitudes around so they can enjoy activities. She is known for her
compassion and understanding with persons served when they are having
emotional struggles. LaMeil is a great role model and is respected and
admired by persons served and MMI staff.
She has great ideas for improving services, is an active participant in
extracurricular activities such as the Halloween and Holiday Forums, and
is an excellent dancer! LaMeil is an encouraging team player and a great
asset to MMI. Her cheerful disposition and the warm smile on her face
brighten MMI the minute she walks in the building.
