MMI Announces 2009 Board Officers and New Members

MMI (Mid-Michigan Industries Inc.) is proud to announce the confirmation of their Board Officers for 2009. Greg Starry, (Edward Jones), will serve as Chair of the Board. Monica Tissue-Daws (Attorney), will serve as the Vice Chair with Jodi Robinette, (CMU), as Secretary and Lynn Pohl, (Boge, Wybenga & Bradley), as Treasurer.
New Board Members inducted at the last meeting include: Barbara Richards (Retired), who is returning to the MMI board after a hiatus of two years and Michael Freeze (MMI).
Board Members who will continue on for this year are; Doug Ouellette (First Bank), John Briggs (General Agency Services), Mark Duthie (Isabella County Trial Court), Dan Eversole (Isabella Bank & Trust).
MMI is a private not-for-profit organization that provides employment and training services for individuals with barriers to employment in Central Michigan. MMI offers a wide variety of services including vocational training, job placement, community employment, Michigan Works! case management and youth services.
“With such an extensive array of services, we need to have a board with just as much diversity,” commented Alan Schilling, MMI’s President. “We are fortunate to have been able to acquire such unique talents and expertise for our board.”
MMI has been an active member of the community for 35 years and is a United Way Agency.
