MMI Board Welcomes New Members

Alan Schilling, President of MMI (Mid-Michigan Industries Inc.) announces the appointment of four new board members for a three year term of 2007-2009. Sue Shinabery, Rafael Dominguez, Dan Eversole, and Lynn Pohl were added to MMI's Board of Directors by a unanimous vote.
Sue Shinabery is the Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager for Prenger's Inc. and resides in the Perrinton area. Sue is also the guardian for her brother who is a participant of MMI services in Gratiot County. Rafael Dominguez is the Assistant Director of Custodial and Special Services for Alma College, and resides in Weidman. Dan Eversole, who is returning to the MMI board after a hiatus of three years is the Vice President of Human Resources for IBT Bancorp and resides in Mt. Pleasant, and E. Lynn Pohl who is a CPA for Boge, Wybenga & Bradley PC and also resides in Mt. Pleasant. All four additions are energetic community members and have added to that activity by joining MMI's Board of Directors.
MMI is a private not-for-profit organization that provides employment and training services for individuals with barriers to employment in Central Michigan. MMI offers a broad array of services including vocational training, job placement, community employment, Michigan Works! Case management and in-school youth services through out seven mid-Michigan Counties.
“With the wide range of services provided by MMI, we need to have a board with just as much multiplicity,” commented Alan Schilling, MMI's President. “We are privileged to have been able to acquire such distinctive talents and knowledge for our board.”
MMI has been an active member of the community for over 34 years and is a United Way Agency.
