We have started out by getting our seeds ready for the last month or so and have started planting them in cups and yogurt containers.  We have enjoyed watching them grow every day.  We had a 50% germination rate with our Tomatoes.  We started more tomato seeds, so hopefully our next batch will be more successful.  Our peppers, hot and bell, have started to sprout up quite nicely, not ready to be outside yet, they are still under the lights in our shop. I am very impressed with how our cauliflower and broccoli have taken.  They have grown so good that we have been able to transfer 3 each outside to our garden.  We were smart this year and used cleaned milk containers to use them as a cover for over the plants to keep them protected from the harsh wind that may hurt them.  Thankfully rain has not been an issue, so they are adjusting well.

I think I am most excited for our flowers!! They have grown so big that some are even starting to get buds to bloom soon.  We have started to transfer them to bigger pots and have set them outside to spruce up the building. Come a couple weeks they will be bloomed and beautiful.

For the first time we are going to start growing corn in the garden.  We have set up 6 rows which should hold approximately 200 seeds.  Lets hope that a few take so we will have some good fresh corn on the cob by the end of the summer.
